Plot

In Tokyo (known as Shinto Teito (新東帝都 Shintō Teito, "New Eastern Imperial Capital")) in 2020, 19-year-old Minato Sahashi has failed his college entrance exam twice. He is also inept around women, is unemployed, and is continually bullied by his mother Takami and his younger sister Yukari. In truth, Minato is extremely intelligent, yet his inability to cope under pressure results in his constant failure and he has been insulted by several people.

One day, Minato meets a girl named Musubi, who literally falls from the sky. Minato soon learns that she is a "Sekirei" who chose him as her "Ashikabi", a human with special genes that allows them to "mark" (form a contract with) Sekirei. This binds the Sekirei to him and allows them to use their full power in the elimination battle with other Sekirei. Made up of cute girls, buxom women, and bishōnen, the Sekirei fight in a dangerous and sometimes deadly competition known as "The Game" or the "Sekirei Plan" organized by Hiroto Minaka, the chairman and founder of the mysterious and powerful MBI Corporation.

Minato soon learns that being the partner of a beautiful girl is not all fun and games, especially when several other Sekirei choose him as their Ashikabi, each also forming a contract with him. Now, Minato must find a way to survive both the life-threatening battles of the Sekirei Plan and his partners' fierce competition for him.

Terminology

Sekirei

Sekirei (鶺鴒^?) are extraterrestrial superpowered beings with a genetic code similar to humans. The Sekirei spaceship crashed on Earth in 1999 on Kamikura Island (神座島 Kamikura-jima^?), and was found by students Hiroto Minaka (future MBI chairman) and Takami Sahashi (future MBI head researcher and Minato's mother). Onboard, the pair had found 108 life-forms, described as "One pillar and 107 baby birds".

§  The first of them (a pillar, shown as #00, later renumbered and known as #01 Miya) was an adult.

§  Eight (later known as #02-06, 08-09 and unnamed #07) were embryos.

§  99 others (later known as #10-108) were fertilized eggs.

The adult and the eight embryos are also known as the "Single Numbers". It is hinted that unwinged Single Numbers are equal or even more powerful than their winged counterparts. All of the Sekirei had undergone adjustments for the "Sekirei Plan", especially the Single Numbers (some of their adjustments were mischievous). The adjustments had been undergone not only for making Sekirei stronger, but also for controlling and stabilizing their power. Each Sekirei has a Norito (祝詞^?, lit. "Incantations"), a unique ability that allows them to perform powerful attacks. In order to use the Norito, a Sekirei must be kissed by an Ashikabi  prior to reciting it.

Also, eight mysterious artifacts called Jinki (神器^?, lit. "God instrument"), numbered from #1 to #8,^[  were also found on the Sekirei spaceship. If all eight of them are gathered, it is possible that they can be used to terminate all of the Sekirei if the wielder desires. Sekirei that are under the same Ashikabi can also merge their techniques in order to create more powerful techniques. This puts most Ashikabi at a disadvantage, as only a few Ashikabi possess more than one Sekirei.

Ashikabi

Ashikabi (葦牙^?) are humans with unique genes that enable them to empower the Sekirei destined to serve them. Through mucous contact (kissing) between a Sekirei and its Ashikabi, a Sekirei without wings can become a "winged" Sekirei. Unlike Sekirei, who are mostly buxom women or handsome young men, Ashikabi can be quite innocuous as they can appear in any gender, age, and even status. In the series, the power of an Ashikabi can be determined not only by the number of Sekirei he or she has in his or her disposal, but by the bond between them. Four Ashikabi in particular, including Minato, are considered the most powerful ones having titles based on their names followed by what part of the city they rule over. If an Ashikabi dies, all of the Sekirei winged by him or her will also perish.

Sekirei Plan

The Sekirei Plan (鶺鴒計画 Sekirei Keikaku^?), known to Minaka and others as the "Game", is a competition in which Sekirei and Ashikabi fight for survival until the last one remains. The first anime season ended at the end of the Second Stage.

§  First Stage: The Sekirei are adjusted and released in Tokyo. Thereafter, they must find their Ashikabi for winging. This stage ended when 90% of the Sekirei had been winged.

§  Second Stage: Tokyo becomes a closed city and no Sekirei or Ashikabi can leave. The Ashikabi must then wing the remaining unwinged Sekirei.

§  Third Stage: A series of matches between Ashikabi for possession of one of the Jinki on each one. Three teams (an Ashikabi and up to three Sekirei) participate in the first and third match. Five pairs (an Ashikabi and one Sekirei) participate in the second match. Also it was revealed that Jinki #8 had been stolen from M.B.I. by Matsu and Uzume, given to Miya for safekeeping and is currently in Minato's possession. One of the other Jinki was also stolen and the fourth and last match is an optional battle royale with the prize being the remaining three.

§  Fourth Stage: Final stage of the Sekirei Plan whose details have not been yet revealed.

Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto

Plot

Star Driver takes place on the fictional Southern Cross Isle. One night, a boy named Takuto washes up on shore swimming from the mainland. He later enrolls in Southern Cross High School as a freshman and makes new friends. However, beneath the school is a group of mysterious giants called Cybodies, which can be controlled by humans in an alternate dimension known as Zero Time. Takuto, The "Galactic Pretty Boy"(銀河美少年 Ginga Bishounen, finds himself dragged into opposition with the "Glittering Crux Brigade" (綺羅星十字団 Kiraboshi Juujidan, lit. Glittering Star Cruciform Group), a mysterious group that intends to take possession of the island's Cybodies for their own purposes as well as break the seals of the island's four Shrine Maidens, whose powers prevent the Cybodies from functioning outside of Zero Time.

Characters

Main character

The main characters of Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto in front of akuto's cybody, "Tauburn". Clockwise from the center, Takuto, Wako, Kanako, Simone, Sugata, Reiji, Benio, Keito and Sarina.

Takuto Tsunashi (ツナシ・タクト Tsunashi Takuto) / "Galactic Pretty Boy" (銀河美少年 Ginga Bishounen) 

Voiced by: Mamoru Miyano

Protagonist hero and main character of the series and member of the Night Flight drama club. Piloting the Cybody Tauburn, one of the mecha formerly hidden in the island's ancient ruin, he is a Star Driver opposing the Holy Order of Glittering Stars to protect Wako, the South Shrine Maiden, from them. According to the Order, Takuto is the legendary "Galactic Pretty Boy" and the greatest threat to their plans. He also has two of the legendary Twelve Star Swords: Emeraude and Saphir, and his training in dual-wielding swordmanship allows him to fight skillfuly with one in each hand. With his bright and positive personality, the 15-year old easily becomes a humorous favorite to all, often having many females fall in love with him, but Takuto says that before he received the scar on his chest, where he shortly after received his "Tau" mark, he was much more "closed." Coincidentally, he shares his birthday with Sugata. He also shows hints of a darker side to his personality, and seems to have had a dark past as well. He had a friend named Natsuo who was interested in flight but died from an unrevealed illness. He was abandoned by his father whom he believes to currently reside on the island. His father is later revealed to be Reiji Miyabi whose increasing interest in cybodies eventually pushed a woman he was having an affair with, Sora, to leave the island who, at the time, was pregnant with Takuto. He was partially raised by his grandfather, who seemed to know much of the island's secrets and apparently bestowed Takuto with the Tau mark. He has also been shown to have extremely high athletic ability and senses, as well as showing hints of high intelligence. It has been implied that he is aware of the fact that some of his classmates and peers are members of Glittering Crux and easily recognized that Reiji is actually his father, despite he had not aged since he became a driver. Takuto is fiercely loyal to his friends, especially Wako and Sugata, and would go out of his way to help them. When Sugata attempts to seal Samekh by sacrificing his life, Takuto breaks Wako's seal and chases after Samekh, which is flying into space to absorb the libido from the whole world, and destroys it to save Sugata.

Wako Agemaki (アゲマキ・ワコ Agemaki Wako): Voiced by: Saori Hayami

A member of the Midnight Flight drama club. She is one of the "Shrine Maidens" whose powers prevent Cybodies from being activated outside of Zero Time. Not only does she serve this purpose, but her powers and existence creates a seal, the South Maiden Seal, that guards the secrets of the island. As long as the seal is intact, she, a maiden, is forbidden from leaving the island. If the seal breaks, the Cybodies would be able to leave the island as well. Her grandmother was meant to tell her about being a Maiden when she entered middle school, but she Apprivoised on her own when she was in elementary school, granting her access of all memories stored in the Cybody she was in. She once aspired to become a singer; as a child she wanted to go to Tokyo to seek that dream, but her status as a Maiden barred her from doing so. She has been engaged to Sugata due to his family tradition since childhood. In episode 21, she asks to play opposite of Takuto in Night Flight's latest play, becoming a part of the infamous kiss scene. She has a small yellow fox-like pet named Vice (副部長 Fukubuchou, lit. Vice President) who seems to have an important "connection" to the drama club. The mark on her chest is the ancient letter Waw, which is where her Maiden Cybody's name probably derives from. At the end of the anime, she admit that she is deeply in love with both Takuto and Sugata and is jealous of Keito and Ruri for being loyal to the one person they love. When Sugata attempts to sacrifice himself to seal Samekh, Wako allows Takuto to break her seal releasing the Cybodies from Zero Time which allows Takuto to chase after and destroy Samekh ultimately saving Sugata

Sugata Shindō (シンドウ・スガタ Shindō Sugata) 

Voiced by: Jun Fukuyama

A member of the Midnight Flight club along with Wako and Takuto. According to the tradition of his family, he is engaged to Wako, one of the island's Shrine Maidens, who is also his childhood friend, but is aware of her growing interest in Takuto. He is calm, intelligent and for the most part emotionally reserved, but shown to be somewhat hasty at times when his friends are in danger. He is also the current Star Driver of the King Cybody, Samekh, a highly powerful but dangerous Cybody which all previous candidates to successfully Apprivoise have fallen into a permanent coma. However, after Apprivoising to save Wako from the Glittering Crux, he is able to awaken due to Takuto and Wako's efforts. He then is able to use his First Phase to assist Takuto in his battles. Coincidentally, he shares his birthday with Takuto. As the owner of the King Cybody, the Glittering Crux order vacated the leadership of the order's First Division "Emperor" to him in hopes that he would eventually claim it, and so he did after finding out that Keito is too, part of Glittering Crux but for the sole purpose of sealing Samekh at the expense of his life. He is saved by Takuto when Takuto broke Wako's seal to chase after and destroy Samekh.

Game Yu gi oh on pc

This game is finally complete. In this game your opponent is Yami Yugi, like in 1st Power of Chaos game, but this time you both duel with awesome new cards. This game does not have all the same cards as my previous one (no Synchros, no E-Heroes) but there is many other great new cards. It has 1109 cards in total (170 are added by me) including some anime only and fan-made cards. To unlock all cards open 'All Cards - UNLOCKER' folder and fallow the instructions in 'All Cards INFO!!!!!!!.txt' file.

Yusei the Acceleration basically is a modification based on the entire PC series. Now player will facing all new opponent Yusei Kudo in a card battle game under same rules from the original PC version. Player will use 40 basic cards from Joey's decks as starter. Each time won the battle, new cards will be unlocked which allows player to build stronger decks. More than 1000 cards from semi limited, limited, forbidden, fan created and even anime only are selectable. Although several cards effects may not work as in its description, but overall this game runs perfectly. As a true duelist, please remember that this game is just fanmade. Suzumiya Haruhi

Anime

The anime adaptation of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱 Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu^?), produced by the Japanese animation studioKyoto Animation and directed by Tatsuya Ishihara, contained 14 episodes which aired in Japan between April 2 and July 2, 2006. It was originally aired in anonlinear order, with the prologue and first seven chapters of the first novel intermixed with chapters from some of the later novels. The "next episode" previews feature two different episode numberings: one number from Haruhi, who numbers the episodes in chronological order, and one number from Kyon, who numbers them in broadcast order. The DVD releases start with "Episode 00" and are then shown in chronological order. The anime was licensed and distributed by Bandai Entertainment over four DVDs released between May and November 2007. A complete box set was later released on July 29, 2008. It was broadcast in Italy on Rai 4 between October 24, 2010 and February 6, 2011.

The second season of the anime series was announced in a full-page advertisement of Asahi Shimbun on July 7, 2007 in Japan. Promotional videos included a live action sequence, inspired by the "Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody" chapter from the third novel The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya, depicting Haruhi and Kyon breaking into a school with footage taken from surveillance cameras. On December 18, 2007 the anime's official website, haruhi.tv, was replaced by a fake 404 error with five form-input fields, a reference to the pivotal date in The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, the fourth volume in the light novel series.

A re-broadcast of the first series began in April 2009.Following a comment by Teletama one of the broadcasting stations, that the 2009 broadcast would be 28 episodes long, there was speculation that the re-broadcast would be followed by the second season, though this was not confirmed by Kadokawa at the time. The first new episode, "Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody" (笹の葉ラプソディ Sasa no Ha Rapusodi^?), was aired on May 21, 2009 as the eighth episode of the re-broadcast. Unlike the original run the re-broadcast was shown in chronological order, with new episodes intermixed with the old ones. Episodes were later shown on Kadokawa's YouTube channel after the broadcast, and also started showing English-subtitled episodes. Bandai Entertainment licensed the re-broadcast in 2010 and released a complete collection in North America on September 14, 2010. Manga Entertainment will release the season in a 4-disc DVD box set, including the Haruhi-chan mini-episodes, in the UK on July 4, 2011.

Characters

Kyon (キョン^?)

Voiced by: Tomokazu Sugita (Japanese), Crispin Freeman (English)

Kyon is the narrator and the main protagonist of the series. He is a student, with whom Haruhi willingly interacted. Even though Haruhi is the title character, the story is told through his viewpoint. Through narration and dialogue, he provides his insight, perspective, and opinions on the series' events. He is both straight-man and a source of sardonic humour. While Kyon's intentions toward defending his Brigade fellows from Haruhi's madness are often well intentioned, he often has to struggle to overcome the crazy and often ridiculous obstacles barring his way. While he's not afraid to stand up to a Haruhi tangent, he does exhibit a form of fear over her occasional troublesome antics that could threaten expulsion or worse. Kyon is, in fact, a nickname. Kyon's real name is yet to be revealed.

Haruhi Suzumiya (涼宮 ハルヒ Suzumiya Haruhi^?)

Voiced by: Aya Hirano (Japanese), Wendee Lee (English)

Haruhi Suzumiya is the title character and leader of the SOS Brigade. Her energetic and eccentric character proves to be a driving force for the series. Her eccentricities cause her to stand out from day one, such as openly declaring her desire to meet aliens, time travelers and espers as part of her high school entrance greeting to the entire class. Haruhi pulls various stunts as 'publicity' for her S.O.S Brigade, a group she formed thanks to a sarcastic remark courtesy of Kyon. Such stunts range from dragging her entire group around the city searching for 'weird phenomena' to dressing Mikuru and herself (and Nagato if she could afford it) up in bunny girl outfits and passing out fliers by the front gate. As the story progresses she and Kyon become close to the point where she begins to develop feelings for him.

Yuki Nagato (長門 有希 Nagato Yuki^?)

Voiced by: Minori Chihara (Japanese), Michelle Ruff (English)

She is a Data Entity whose responsibility involves the monitoring of Haruhi and the investigation of the events three years prior to the present story. As a Data Entity, she possesses the ability to manipulate the surrounding environment as she sees fit. For the movie, Yuki, never heard to voice a complaint of any kind, was pushed into playing the evil alien witch, complete with the stereotypical witch costume and the mysterious talking cat belonging to Kyon. Yuki rarely speaks, choosing her books over idle conversation nine times out of ten. On the rare occasion she does choose to explain something, all middle ground is lost. She goes in depth and in detail, with nothing left out, often going into run-on sentences without even stopping for a breath.

Mikuru Asahina (朝比奈 みくる Asahina Mikuru^?)

Voiced by: Yūko Gotō (Japanese), Stephanie Sheh (English)

She is a time traveler, assigned in the future to investigate the reason for the inability to travel to any point in time before three years prior to the present story. Mikuru is very shy and timid and unfortunately, the odd end out of many a Haruhi eccentricity. Whenever she speaks of her mission or of her time plane, she inserts the word 'classified' into spots that would ordinarily reveal important information. In the English version, she answers all of Kyon's probing questions with 'That's classified'. Occasionally, Mikuru's older self will appear in the same time plane, essentially threatening a time paradox should anyone other than Kyon find out, meaning these visitations are exceedingly rare and unpredictable. Mikuru was forced by Haruhi to play the role of a time traveling battle waitress from the future in a parody of many different magical girl anime, all of which contain Haruhi's favorite theme: moe.

Itsuki Koizumi (古泉 一樹 Koizumi Itsuki^?)

Voiced by: Daisuke Ono (Japanese), Johnny Yong Bosch (English)

He is an esper (one who possesses Extra-Sensory Perception), who had suddenly acquired the knowledge and powers of an esper three years prior to the present story. Along with other espers, he uses his power to combat the Haruhi-created beings of energy within Closed Spaces during times of fitful irritation at the lack of strange phenomena in her world. Just like the other members, his so-called Agency and its members are never explored in-depth. In the movie, Itsuki was pushed into playing a typical, somewhat dizzy and scatterbrained high school boy with powerful hidden abilities that could only be brought out by a catalyst of some sort.
